I love fudge but I am not a fan of making traditional fudge from scratch. Candy making is not my forte – then there’s the whole cleaning up after…heaven forbid you don’t get that fudge or sugar mixture out of the pan while its still hot, might as well throw that pot and spoon in the trash and buy a new one. So when I was craving my favorite fudge and didn’t wanna pay big bucks to get it, I was super stoked to find this Magickally Easy Fudge Recipe on Pinterest! Unicorn Fudge!
Magickal Fudge Ingredients
- 1 can of frosting (I like using Funfetti frosting because it comes with sprinkles and is usually available in holiday colors)
- 12 ounces of white chocolate (I use generic brand almond bark)
- Flavoring (I used 1 drop pure orange essential oil)
Super Easy Recipe
In a glass bowl, melt the white chocolate – you can do this over a pot of water on the stove or, like me, by nuking it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes at 30 second intervals, stirring each 30 seconds.
Stir in frosting.
Add flavoring, optional
Line baking dish with plastic wrap and pour warm fudge mix in, smoothing it into an even layer.
Cover with sprinkles, also optional.
Chill in fridge for 1-2 hours.
Cut and enjoy!
My first batch was made with some Halloween frosting. It was orange and had fun bat and pumpkin sprinkles! This made me think – frosting lasts for a year or so on the shelf. You can buy up discount frosting post-holiday and use for cute and quick fudge all year round!
This recipe is so simple, easy, and cheap! My poor waistline…
